Stephen Childs is a writer living in Perth, Western Australia. Originally from London, he moved to New Zealand with his family at the age of eleven. An extensive career in the film and television business followed. Flirtations with owning a design business, selling real estate and becoming a parliamentary candidate have littered his career, providing much material for story lines and characters along the way.

He found his way to Perth after deciding to leave behind the executive rat-race and enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle by the beach.

Stephen lives with his wife, Debbie and son, Harry. They share their home with two cats, Tabitha and Samantha.
